SALAA Association Meets 2012

A team of athletes and families from LADLAC will be attending these events, at various venues, throughout the rest of the season. It is a fantastic opportunity for athletes to compete on different tracks and fields. Some information is attached. To register or for more information - speak to Aaron (LADLAC President) ASAP.

Be Active State Individual Championships (U9-U17) - 24th & 25th March 2012

Athletes must be registered members with LADLAC by 31st December 2011 and must meet state competition requirements. Entries close - 1st March 2012. More information available here.

Presentation Day 2012

Just a reminder that our LADLAC Presentation Day will be held this Sunday - 1 April 2012 from 2pm - 5pm.

All athletes and families are welcome to attend and celebrate the 2011/2012 season.

Emails have been sent out and a RSVP is appreciated.

LADLAC will supply an afternoon tea - just BYO chairs, adult drinks and some change for the canteen.

We ask that all athletes wear their LADLAC uniforms.

Participation medals and age group tophies will be awarded during the day.

Welcome to Lyndoch & Districts Little Athletics Centre.  We look forward to meeting you and hope that your time with us will be fun and enjoyable. 

Little Athletics is an organisation for young people aged between 3 and 17 years. It provides an opportunity for fun and development in all forms of track and field athletics.  It is also an activity in which the whole family can become involved and have a great time. Little Athletics is designed to develop children of all abilities by promoting positive attitudes and a healthy lifestyle.

2011-12 LADLAC Meet 20

THE FINAL LADLAC MEET IS ON FRIDAY 23rd March 2012 FROM 5.30PM SHARP.

Presentation Day will be held on SUNDAY 1st April from 2-5PM at the Lyndoch oval.

Registration Information pack plus Registration Form are now available - download, follow the instructions, fill in and bring along with payment any FRIDAY from 5pm.

The LADLAC Calendar is also available.

Wet weather reminder - A decision will be made at 4:30pm on the day of the meet. If it is the opinion of the committee that conditions are unsafe, at 4.30pm, at the oval, the meet will be cancelled. We will post cancellation information to this website and Facebook page from 4.30pm.  If wet weather has subsided at 4.30pm but it is still slippery underfoot, certain events will be removed from the weekly schedule, eg High Jump.

General LADLAC 2011-12 season information at a glance:

Meets are held every Friday from 5.30pm including some school holidays from 14th October 2011 - 23 March 2012. Following each meet, the centre provides a BBQ dinner for athletes and families at a very reasonable cost each week. 20 meets will be held during the season. Occasionally extra meets are held on Sundays.

The meets are based on a four week rotation program (available shortly).

The Annual General Meeting and Presentation Day will be held on Sunday 1 April 2012.

Lyndoch and Districts do not have a winter program, however the Little Athletics Association has a Cross Country program for athletes that are interested. Check out the NEW 2011-12 cross country program for more information.
